Facebook, or blog?
both of them... It's like having way too many email addresses, and deciding which one to use...
Sometimes I'm a little stressed with the thought that I have to use both, so I just sit in piazza's like this and wonder.... blog? facebook? blog? ...in any case, for all of you that bother visiting my blog... you'll see a new post....for all of you that don't even read this...you'll end up seeing my status on facebook....and for everyone else who happen upon either, you won't even know you're missing the other half. As for blog readers, if you had any sense at all, you would leave my utterly boring blog and check out the blog by Jon Hintze. Because his is actually worth reading. We can all just read his blogs and pee our pants in laughter...and feel much better about our life, and have a new, defining sense of self.... with wet pants....

Pallavolo - Volleyball
I've come to appreciate this sport a lot more after playing it almost daily at school at Middlebury. It's possible that since I was playing it in Italian instead of English, it took on a new, exotic aspect that I didn't normally get when I'd play it in America. It also helps though that now I understand the rules, and more importantly how to win. I think that's pretty much the case with most sports. If you know how to win, you probably like it. If you suck, then you don't want to play anymore. I could be wrong, but I think that's the case most of the time. This picture doesn't represent the whole "rule" thing very well, it was taken during practice, but I think it's cool. I try not to touch the net, but sometimes it just happens. And it's really embarrassing when you get all tangled up in the net, like a fish.

GRADUATION

FINITO!!! My undergraduate life is coming to a close. Kind of crazy to think I have to be a real person and get a real job and actually start providing for myself and a future family. It's been a long haul but I've loved it, and I've been blessed with innumerable experiences and friends. I guess it's not really over... I mean... I've only got years of grad school to look forward to. :( Maybe by that time I'll be able to just live off my IRA. Or I could just find a way to market Rebecca's soapcarvings and make millions. Or possibly do a "The Brethren's Impersonated Voices" comedy tour.
Nah.. I'll just keep on painting and getting paid, and lookin for Mrs. Right. And of course teaching la lingua piu' bella che ci sia. Congrats to all those in '07! We made it! Now we get to "go forth to serve."
... and who'd of thought one of my illustrations would be a foreshadowing of next week. I never really thought about it. I just thought I made a good model. :)

Conference Weekend
I was walking to the library today and saw one of my professors. He said, "So, how's it going?" I said, "Pretty good." Then he continued,"It is friday." And then I said, "Yah, and it's Conference Weekend!" Then he said to my chagrin, "Yah. It poses problems. I've got so much to do. It's one of those times where I'm like, do I watch Saturday's Sessions or not?
I left that conversation with a bit of bad taste in my mouth. I mean, I guess he could be joking, but from the tone it didn't sound like it. I don't know. He's definitely much busier than I am.. but who doesn't wait eagerly to hear the living mouthpiece of God. I mean, who's like, "aaaah. I'll do it tomorrow.... I think I got a sock drawer to organize...." Shouldn't listening to the living mouthpiece of God be on your definite "to do" list?
I guess I just like the simple things. Well. I guess not so simple. I'll probably end up making a fort anyway...

Penso di giocare a golf...

Hey y'all. I'm gonna do my BFA show with the rest of the fellas, so if you wanna drop in a take a look-seee, feel free. It's somewhat pathetic. I only have 4 done of the 6, and only 3 framed, but I guess I have to show so I can graduate. I do have to admit, it's nice seeing em framed, I just wish I were done and able to do my own show like the rest of yas. Maybe one of these days I'll do a one man show at Thanksgiving Pt. Until then, drop down to the HFAC if you have a chance and sign my book. OH... Studenti miei, se venite alla mostra, vi do un credito per un evento culturale. Che ne pensate! Dovete pero' scrivere un riassunto come sempre!
Happy Golfing
